It took President Barack Obama in order to get Osama bin Laden

Question: Where was Osama bin Laden killed?

(a) Iraq
(b) Afghanistan
(c) Pakistan

Answer: Pakistan

* So WTF were we doing in Iraq spending over $1 Trillion during George W. Bush’s administration?

** Where is the evidence of bin Laden’s death? Pictures? Video? Anything?

At least Pakistan borders Afghanistan. Our military efforts in that part of the world make logical sense. Our military efforts in Iraq make monetary sense, I guess, for politically connected military contractors – like Halliburton, the company that got multiple no-bid, multi-billion dollar contracts from our tax dollars. Dick Cheney used to be CEO of Halliburton. So there’s the connection…because Osama bin Laden was in Afghanistan/Pakistan the whole time.

I’m glad to see bin Laden go, but I do feel ambivalent about seeing crowds cheering death. Especially when we do not have any verifiable proof (other than the President’s word). It reminds me of the mob mentality when President Bush convinced us we needed to spend hundreds of billions of dollars to stop non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. What is the appropriate response to the death of a mass murderer, once verified through pictures, video, or DNA? Personally, I think George W. Bush did more damage (over $1 Trillion wasted during his administration’s handling of the false war in Iraq, over 4,000 U.S. soldiers killed during his administration’s handling of the false war in Iraq, over 100,000 Iraqi civilians killed during his administration’s handling of the false war in Iraq). George W. Bush did more damage than Osama bin Laden, but in a country that had nothing to do with 9-11 or al Qaeda.
