Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens was a sinful sage, an eloquent provocateur, and an inimitable intellectual. I heard him introduce Salman Rushdie at the 92nd Street Y in New York, in 2005. Mr. Hitchens also moderated the Question and Answer segment with the audience after Mr. Rushdie read from his novel, Shalimar the Clown. Thank God, the Universe, Time & Space, that Christopher Hitchens was here.
