Barack Obama is not Superman, but give him a cape anyway

Seriously, Obama deserves a cape if he gets us out of this Triple-Threat Mess: Afghanistan, Iraq, The Great Recession.

Bush and Cheney glided out the door. Well, Cheney got wheeled out because he hurt his back moving. But he recovered and wrote a book about the Bush administration doing most everything right on the money. No apologies from Dick. Bush wrote his book and lied about being sick to his stomach when he found out there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. A man with a physical revulsion to the news of no WMD would not have the gumption to make a joke out of it for laughs at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

They write books and tell lies, and President Obama cleans up their multiple messes. Reminder: The Great Recession started in the 4th quarter of 2007. Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns went bankrupt in September 2008, and that’s when the $700 billion bailout of Wall Street started. Down went Washington Mutual, Merrill Lynch, AIG, General Motors, Chrysler. The Federal Reserve made $9 Trillion in emergency loans to U.S. banks & U.S. companies as well as foreign banks & foreign companies. Right around that time We, the People, elected Barack Obama as our 44th president. However, he was not sworn in as President until January 2009. Everything, and I do mean everything, was pretty bad when Obama walked in the door and Bush and Cheney glided/rolled out to be whisked away by helicopter.
