Edna Ferber

I just stumbled upon the scintillating writing of Edna Ferber. Check out her Pulitzer-Prize-winning novel, So Big, from 1924. Ms. Ferber – of New York City by way of Appleton, Wisconsin – contributed to the sagacious musings of the Algonquin Round Table, a renowned intellectual group in Manhattan that included the founder of The New Yorker magazine.
