FAH-Q Republicans!

FAH-Q = For All to Hear & Question. ; )

* The term “Republicans” refers to the Republicans of the 2000s.

EXCERPT:

“The Republicans, in a nod to the Tea Party, are to make their first major piece of business a symbolic reading in the House of the US constitution on Thursday, their touchstone in the months ahead.”

The Declaration of Independence (written by Thomas Jefferson), the Constitution of the United States, and the “Bill of Rights” (along with the power to continue to amend the Constitution in order to end slavery and give women the right to vote) makes this the best country the world has ever known. We, the People, are the Government. We elect our representatives to act on our behalf. We can vote them in and out of power.

EXCERPTS:

“Other measures being considered include a ban on hiring federal employees other than those involved with security and cancellation of all money not yet used under Obama’s economic stimulus plan.” [????]

[The stimulus money is still being used to provide construction jobs in renewable energy industry, for one example. Republicans are trying to sabotage our country’s economic growth for political gain.]

“With control of House committees, the Republicans can tie up the White House and the rest of the federal government with an endless series of subpoenas demanding the presence of politicians and officials on the Hill to give evidence to inquires.”

____________________________________________________________________________________________

I recommend we vote Republicans out of power in 2012 if all they plan to do is obstruct the growth of this economy by tying up our government into knots.

CONGRESS COLLECTS TAXES…

Article I, Section. 8.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

CONGRESS ALSO HAS THE RIGHT TO REGULATE INTERSTATE COMMERCE, SUCH AS UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE

Article I, Section. 8.

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes.”

____________________________________________________________________________________________

We need to provide for the “General Welfare” of our citizens, as it states explicitly in the Constitution of the United States. Providing health care coverage for all Americans provides for the “General Welfare” of our country. Healthy citizens mean a healthy economy, because everyone is more productive when they are healthy.

We had an election in 2008 to fix all the problems left behind by George W. Bush and the Republicans of the 2000s. We are providing for the health of our country after Dick Cheney, Trent Lott, Dennis Hastert and Tom Delay had their way making the country sick with deprivation of spending on domestic programs while fully funding an illegitimate war that mainly bulged the pockets of military contractors, like Cheney’s Halliburton, and the Bush-family sponsored Carlyle Group.

FAH-Q Republicans!

Republicans will lie, cheat and steal. They always lie about “bringing the country together” as they go about tearing it apart. They cheat us out of our tax dollars that could be used to fund LIFE in our schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, national parks, renewable energy infrastructure ( solar electricity, geothermal, and on and on)…instead of always finding another war/military conflict to fund DEATH and pad the pockets of politically connected campaign contributors who provide the bullets.
