Accurate History 1-2-3…

In response to the above youtube videos:

* Remember, Bill Clinton did not go to war in Iraq. Pay attention to the difference in tone and rhetoric between Clinton and Bush. Clinton did not go to war in Iraq, but Bush did. Why? For what reasons? WMD was not good enough for Clinton to go to war…because Clinton never ordered the US Military to invade and occupy Iraq.

For the sake of sanity in America, please let’s keep the facts straight. Bill Clinton did not waste $1 Trillion in Iraq. Nor did Barack Obama. But Bush & Cheney, and the rest of their gang, misled our country into a costly and unnecessary war by mixing up the 1-2-3 in order to confuse and scare the sh*t out of the American public.

(1) Iraq had no Weapons of Mass Destruction prior to the US Military invading in March 2003.

(2) Iraq had nothing to do with al Qaeda prior to the US Military invading in March 2003.

(3) Iraq had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks perpetrated by al Qaeda on the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, on September 11, 2001.

Which President took us to war in Iraq because of false claims about WMD, a link to al Qaeda and a link to the 9-11 terrorist attacks?

(A) Dick Cheney

(B) Donald Rumsfeld

(C) Hank Paulson

(D) None of the above

Correct Answer: D…because nobody else on the list was officially the President. Officially, it was President George W. Bush who misled the American People, who wasted $1 Trillion of our tax money on this false war, and who unnecessarily killed innocent Iraqi civilians and US soldiers…while giving no-bid contracts to politically connected military contractors, like Halliburton, where Dick Cheney was CEO before becoming Vice President.

Breaking up the terrorist training camps in Afghanistan: good. Letting Osama bin Laden escape: bad. Starting a false war in Iraq for the majority benefit of military contractors, like Halliburton and the Carlyle Group: priceless.

“United Defense L.P. of Arlington, Va., signed a deal yesterday [June 15, 2000] to buy Bofors Weapon Systems of Sweden from Celsius A.B., a subsidiary of Saab A.B., in its first move into the European arms markets. Terms were not disclosed. The deal is subject to approval by both governments. United Defense, a military unit of the private investment concern Carlyle Group, has $1.2 billion in sales and 5,000 employees. It said it would continue to develop Bofors Weapons Systems. Bofors employs 550 people and has annual sales of about $175 million.”

More money when it’s “War 4 Oil”

Not just Halliburton, but also Carlyle

Bush cronies keep lining their pockets
