George W. Bullsh*t

On his book tour, George W. Bush claims that he has a sickening feeling every time he thinks of the Weapons of Mass Destruction that did not exist in Iraq before we wasted $1 Trillion and countless lives (American soldiers and innocent Iraqi civilians).

I guess W. wasn’t sick to his stomach enough when he made WMDs into a joke for a laugh at the White House Correspondents Dinner…

WARNING: Do not trust anything that George W. Bush says. Republicans and Conservatives will lie, cheat and steal.

REMEMBER: Subprime-mortgage-backed securities almost took down our economy. The heyday of Subprime was 2004-2007, when W. was in charge of the Conservative Calamity of the 2000s.

Republicans eat the Middle Class for breakfast. For real, Republicans enjoy the taste of human flesh with an annual income less than $200,000 per year. Maybe they’ll add a little salt and pepper to taste.

There are a lot of different ways to cannibalize the workers of America:
– strip away Health Care
– strip away Social Security
– strip away Unemployment Insurance benefits
– strip away college loan money
– strip away consumer protection
– strip away Wall Street regulation
– strip away the Environmental Protection Agency
– coddle the Oil companies by letting them pollute all they want
– start false wars, like in Iraq, that cost hundreds of billions of dollars and killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians
– give Tax Cuts to the superwealthy millionaires and billionaires, which will take over $700 billion from our country’s revenue in the middle of the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression in the 1930s (that sounds like Upper Class Welfare to me).

Behind the scenes the Bush S.E.C.

They OK’d Subprime, Madoff, AIG

Great Recession wasn’t Bill Clinton

He cashed out $300 billion

Bush spent it all and more out the a$$

Tax Cuts for the rich, no-bid contracts

And y’all, guess what else got cut?

Health Care for the soldier and his wounded gut

Why did Bush claim God on his side?

You know he drove the Devil’s ride on the sly

Good ol’ boy, why would he care?

He back in Texas and still a millionaire

You heard George W. Bush – “America is addicted to oil!” C’mon, is that the craziest thing you’ve ever heard? An oil man like W. telling the country at large not to use so much of his family’s and friends’ product. I mean, Cheney was sitting right behind him at the time, because those words climaxed a State of the Union Speech. It was Theatre of the Absurd at its finest. You could hear Samuel Beckett clapping from a farther room.

George W. Bush = $2.7 Trillion Price Tag

$1 Trillion = “illegal” and unnecessary Iraq War that mainly benefited military contractors, like Dick Cheney’s Halliburton

-$1 Trillion = Bush Tax Cuts for superwealthy

-$700 billion = 2008 TARP bailout of Wall Street banks due to Republican mismanagement of our economy, aka the Subprime Mortgage Meltdown

The Subprime Market was in full swing from 2004-2007. For the majority of that time period Hank Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs, one of the biggest players in Subprime. Goldman Sachs was also AIG’s biggest customer, which means that Goldman double-dipped on the bailout money in 2008.

It was in July 2006 that Paulson became Bush’s Secretary of the Treasury. Two years later, the two of them were pitching the American taxpayers for a $700 billion bailout of the Wall Street banks, like Goldman Sachs, which caused all the mess by making home loans into stocks and selling those Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs) to other banks around the world.

Recap: (1) Hank Paulson made the mess (2) Bush appointed him Secretary of the Treasury (3) Bush and Paulson present to the American People the price tag of $700 billion for the mess that Paulson made (4) the cascading effect is 10 percent unemployment, 30 percent loss of home values, 50 percent loss of 401ks, and a lot of pain and hurt for the majority of Americans.

The mismanagement of our economy from George W. Bush and the Republican-majority Congress from 2001-2006 caused the Great Recession. We are still cleaning up the messes left behind in the wake of Hurricane George, the most destructive natural disaster to hit American shores.
