Blue

Look at us in the light

When the windows engage the full moon

When half-lit faces show black & blue

Picasso once painted in this period, Blue

It was the presage to his full bloom

Which variegated perennially for 70 years

The U.S. is a big ship sailing the seas

With Lloyd Bridges at the helm, and the wind just took his hat!

We’ve lost our way on the way to being found

Yes Captain, we’re turning the ship around

I wrote all of this down

With a blue pen that wrote blue ink

I can’t tell if this is the ending or the beginning

Sunny Day is more powerful than Indigo Night!
