Patriot Act Excesses
Man, this was boring. Get a real writer to flesh out the violations of civil liberties that have taken place, and which the government has the authority to perpetrate in the future, under the provisions of the Patriot Act.
The poor writing, and therefore poor communication, is even more disturbing when I look at the first comment about this Op-Ed:
“President Obama and the current Congress are more secretive and authoritarian in nature than even the Bush years. Left to their real desires, the Democrats would turn this into a totalitarian state.” –posted by James Smith of Pennsylvania, October 8th, 2009 at 7:21am.
Let’s get some real communication going here, because we’ve got some misinformed people who don’t understand the violations of the past administration; and their anger is misdirected at Obama who is trying to clean up the mess that George W. Bush left behind.
